Welcome to Research onto Gender Roles, Anxiety, and Identity for Biracial Americans

Dear prospective participant,

Thank you for your interest in taking part in this study. People who meet the following two requirements are invited to participate:

  • You are at least 18 years old and a citizen of the United States
  • You are biracial with an African American birth parent and a European American birth parent

This study aims to increase our understanding of biracial Americans’ gender role patterns, anxiety, and ethnic identity and identification.

If you meet the previously listed requirements for participation, please click the "NEXT" button below and you will be presented with a page describing the study in more detail. If you agree to participate in this study, you will then be asked to respond to a series of questionnaires that concern gender role orientation, anxiety, ethnic identity, and background information. This research is being conducted by a student in the clinical psychology Ph.D. program at the California School of Professional Psychology of Alliant International University in San Francisco, CA.
